Ar. Rutuja Kendurkar is the founder and principal designer of Spaces101, bringing over 15+ years of experience in architecture and interior design to the studio’s evolving body of work. 

A graduate of PIADS, Nagpur, and a postgraduate from KRVIA, Mumbai, she combines strong technical grounding with a deeply intuitive and artistic approach to design.

Raised in an environment shaped by architecture, as the daughter of eminent architect Ar. Shashikant Bhombe, Rutuja was introduced to the discipline early on. While she carries forward this legacy, her journey has been guided by a desire to establish a distinct voice—one that moves beyond convention to create spaces that are personal, expressive, and quietly powerful.

Her practice spans architecture, interiors, and landscape design, seamlessly interwoven with her passion for fiber arts. This multidisciplinary perspective was further enriched through a specialized internship in fiber arts and sculpting in the United States, where she explored materiality, texture, and form at a more tactile and artistic level. These experiences continue to inform her design sensibility, allowing her to approach each project as both a spatial and artistic composition.

Rutuja’s work is characterized by a thoughtful balance of intuition and precision. She believes in designing more and decorating less—focusing on clarity of concept, technical resolution, and details that feel effortless yet are carefully crafted. Her inclination towards sourcing and customizing unique, less mainstream elements ensures that every project carries a distinct identity.

At Spaces101, she leads with the philosophy that every space should feel deeply connected to its user—a reflection of their journey, translated through design. Whether working on serene residential environments, expressive commercial studios, or immersive landscapes, her approach remains rooted in creating spaces that are timeless, meaningful, and inherently personal.

Ar. Shashikant Bhombe is a highly respected senior consultant with over 40+ years of rich experience in the fields of architecture and interior design. 

A graduate of VNIT Nagpur and a post-graduate from IIT Kharagpur, he has been at the forefront of numerous landmark projects spanning residential, commercial, and institutional domains.

Known for his thoughtful integration of traditional principles with contemporary design, he is also a certified vastu consultant and a government-approved valuer. His work reflects a unique balance of technical expertise, cultural sensitivity, and aesthetic excellence. 

Ar. Bhombe continues to be a guiding force in the industry, offering comprehensive and value-driven design solutions grounded in both innovation and tradition.

Abhinav Kendurkar is Advisor at Spaces101, with over 20 years of industry experience managing projects across India and the USA in both public and private sectors. An IT graduate with strong expertise in project management and operations, he plays a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination, timely execution, and efficient workflow management across all projects with his guidance.

Known for his precision, leadership, and problem-solving approach, Abhinav ensures every project is executed with professionalism and attention to detail. His ability to streamline processes and manage timelines effectively makes him an integral part of the Spaces101 team.
